A serious jigsaw puzzle table
The jigsaw puzzle table is 40-1/2" wide x 32-1/2" deep x 30" tall with 26" of leg clearance. The wood is White Oak.
The jigsaw puzzle area is 39" wide x 31" deep, large enough for most puzzles up to 2,000 pieces. The table tilts to a maximum of 30-degrees.
The jigsaw puzzling area is covered in baize felt from England. Here the table is tilted at 25-degrees.

When more than one person is working on the jigsaw puzzle, the table lays flat.
All four sides of the table has a pull-out shelf providing space to sub-assemble sections of the puzzle before transferring them to the main area.
Each side of the table has a pull-out shelf.
In addition to the table, I've built a jigsaw puzzle piece sorting tower. It has seven (7) trays to sort and organize pieces. The inspiration for the design came from a local friend, woodworker and jigsaw puzzler who designed a similar sorting tower for his own use.
Each of the seven trays has a lift-out board, only 1/8" thick, to place on the pull-out shelf and assemble parts of the jigsaw puzzle before transferring it to the main puzzle area.
The pull-out trays have matching solid brass knobs.
Solid brass handles on both sides of the table assist when lifting & tilting the tabletop.
The lift-out trays fit the pull-out shelves.
The jigsaw puzzle sorting tower has a round handle to enable rolling the tower into position.
The handle also protects from accidental impacts.
The jigsaw puzzle sorting tower is topped with a combination handle (for rolling it around) plus a slotted block for holding the jigsaw puzzle box's lid for easy reference.
The tilting mechanism is borrowed from The Woodworkers Institute's website and Mitch Peacock's design.
The swing arm drops into notches securely holding the table at the four working angles.
