The drawer fronts have continuous grain match across the front
The top is 13/16" thick which adds visual weight to the table
The top is glued-up with 3 boards cut from the same plank for grain and color match
The grain flows from the drawer fronts across to the face
The Alder's grain and figure add interest to the drawer fronts
Handcut dovetail drawers are evidence of the craftsmanship
The 15-1/2" narrow depth makes for an ideal hall table
The legs are gently tapered to add lightness to the stance
Too bad that the back will likely be hidden against a wall
